Sonni Adventures has been in the works since I was about 17 years old. It was just a concept with no name. I fell in love with traveling when I was a little girl. I grew up in a small town called Highland City Florida where everyone knows everyone. My first trip I remember was a snow trip I took to see my aunt and uncle in Massachusetts, when I was 5 years old. I haven’t stopped traveling since! When I was 16 I started traveling internationally, to the majority of Europe. I started planing trips when I was 18 and put my plans into work when I planed our family vacation to Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio, the summer after I turned 19. The most fulfilling trip I planed was a cruise I booked for my grandma, mom, my sister-in-law, and myself. I had never seen my (at the time) 81 year old grandma have so much fun. We thought that we would have to slow down for her but that was not the case! My grandma always had a heart for travel. She always talked to me about going to Finland to see where her side of the family came from. We would also talk about her coming to California to visit me and my husband but sadly in October of 2021 we lost my grandma to Endometrial Cervical Cancer just 2 months before her 84th birthday and the birth of her great grandson… Her memory lives on in the faces my son makes, and in his laughter… When I was little my grandma called my Sonni with a heart above the I… This is for her…
