Hello!! Wanting to get away this spring/summer....Golden Daze River House in Colonial Beach, VA is waiting for you!!

You will love being within walking distance/or a short drive of the beach! Enjoy all the recreational activities here! There are kayak and paddle board rentals, seasonal parades, food trucks, restaurants, bars, a great pier to fish from and stores that offer everything you will need! Don't forget to rent a golf cart to make your experience more memorable! Lots of places in town to rent them.

You will enjoy the live music from various waterfront restaurants! They have seating outside, where you can put your feet in the sand while having dinner and drinks. Great vibes here!

Our home features a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a large yard. Perfect for families and sleeps eight people. Featuring two living rooms which have two sleeper sofas that are queen size beds. This area also has a door so the entire side of the house can be a private area for you. We are pet friendly as well 🙂 This getaway has plenty of space for unwinding! (see pictures for details).

Closing out summer with a BANG!

SATURDAY, 9 PM: Town of Colonial Beach, Virginia (CBVA), is excited to host a fireworks display this Saturday, September 4, beginning at 9 pm. Fireworks can be viewed from various points along the Potomac River. Due to the COVD-19 pandemic and delta variant, guests are encouraged to stay within their own groups and maintain proper social distancing. Colonial Beach, Virginia (CBVA) is a waterfront town in Westmoreland County on Virginia’s Northern Neck peninsula, just 35 nautical miles from the Chesapeake Bay. Bounded by the Potomac River and Monroe Bay, Colonial Beach is both a river town and a beach town, home to the second-largest beach in the state. Striking sunrises, sunsets and river views are observed from the shorelines. CBVA is less than 2 hrs. from DC, midway between Washington and Richmond. Fun fact: its location on the Virginia/Maryland line means if you step one foot into the water, you have left Virginia and entered Maryland.
