TOMORROW, THE TSA PRECHECK LOCATION CHANGES‼️ From 4 to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday, the alternate checkpoint will be dedicated exclusively to TSA Precheck passengers.

✔️ Alternate checkpoint is located on our ticketing level
✔️ CLEAR and CLEAR PRECHECK PASSENGERS: Use the main checkpoint ONLY - you will still have all your CLEAR and precheck privileges there
✔️ After 7 a.m., the checkpoints will return to normal operation
✔️ The main checkpoint will be dedicated to non-precheck passengers

TSA believes this will streamline the security process and provide faster screening times.

It's almost time! We're beginning technical rehearsals on our largest daytime parade to date, Universal Mega Movie Parade, on July 3.

It combines new floats, nearly 100 performers – including dancers, skaters, stilt walkers, poi performers and more – and special effects to create a jaw-dropping experience that celebrates beloved stories from iconic films. Are you ready? 😎 🎬

More updates from PIT airport regarding TSA Pre-Check/Clear.

This busy summer travel season has resulted in longer TSA security lines nationwide, including at PIT. As a result, the TSA is making some changes to the checkpoint's operation locally during the early morning rush hours.

Starting on July 8 from 4 to 7 a.m. Mondays through Fridays, the alternate checkpoint will be dedicated exclusively to TSA Precheck passengers, while the main checkpoint will be dedicated to non-precheck passengers. The TSA believes this will streamline and speed up the passenger experience. After 7 a.m., the checkpoints will return to normal operation.

CLEAR and CLEAR PRECHECK PASSENGERS: Use the main checkpoint ONLY and you will still have all your CLEAR and precheck privileges there.

The long-term fix is that our new terminal, opening in 2025, will have an expanded security checkpoint to speed up the passenger experience. In the meantime, we continue to work with the TSA and our airline partners to find ways to maximize efficiency for our passengers.

PLEASE READ‼️ 👀 For passengers with flights between 5 - 8 a.m., we advise arriving 2½ - 3 hours before your flight to accommodate longer ticketing and security lines. We're experiencing record-breaking crowds this summer, which means longer than usual TSA security lines. We're working with the TSA to streamline the security process as much as possible at PIT.
