UNEXPECTED Disney Day 6!!!
Due to our flight this morning being cancelled and having to rebook a flight for Monday we got a bonus day in Disney and spent our time transferring from Port Orleans Riverside to All Star Movies and then walking around Disney Springs enjoying our time just walking around!
Day 5 was spent in Magic Kingdom today! Did lots of fun rides (Space Mountain; Winnie the Pooh; Haunted Mansion; Big Thunder Mountain Railroad; Buzz Lightyear; and went into the Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor).
Got a bit of a derailment today though as we found out at 3:30pm that our flight for Sunday morning had been cancelled - so after 3 hours of rescheduling another flight for Monday and booking an extra night for a room - things calmed down and we enjoyed our dinner at the Diamond Horseshoe and stayed at MK until the park closed at 10pm!
Day 4 was the crux and purpose of why we were in Disney this week! Today was the big day! After hours and hours of rehearsals and dodging COVID - AOD performed in Disney Speings today! The Centre Art of Dance - Centre Stage Productions Inc. team did an amazing job! What a great way to kick off the Performance and Competition season!
No parks today - just performance prep and then some time relaxing in Disney Springs!
Day 3 was spent in Hollywood Studios! Pictures today start off with some views of our resort (Port Orleans Riverside). Today we were able to get on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway; Millennium Falcon; Rise of Resistence; and into the Frozen Sing-a-along and a Mickey & Minnie film short called Vacation Fun. It was a great day and my inner 8 year old child is beyond overly giddy having had the Star Wars experience we had today!!!!!

Day 2 in Magic Kingdom! We did not use Genie+ today and did pretty well with rides - got onto Pirates and Barnstormer with about a 20 minute wait each! We’ll be back here again on Sat and will use Genie+ on Saturday to hit those rides harder!
Little more crowded here today but again everyone was great with masking while indoors! The Character Cavalcades were so much fun to watch going down Main St USA and the fireworks were spectacular!
Dinner tonight was at Liberty Tree Tavern (one of our favorites!) and their food was amazing as always!
After a 3 year long break from traveling to Disney (thanks to 4 trips in one year and a worldwide pandemic) I have finally returned HOME!!!! Day one of my Disney Vacation was a great success with lots of snacking around the world!
Everyone in EPCOT today was great with masking when in line and/or indoors and the crowds really weren’t that bad at all!
We did Lightening Lane for Frozen and Remy and the new Remy ride is FANTASTIC!!!! I highly recommend it!
Tomorrow will be Magic Kingdom! Stay tuned for another update and some pics tomorrow night 🙂

Dates released for Disney's After Hours Boo Bash!
Tickets for this hauntingly fun-filled three-hour event will go on sale June 15 and Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can book their tickets as early as June 8.
Tickets start at $129 - $139 USD, plus tax for August/September nights and $159 - $169, plus tax for October nights, and $199, plus tax for Halloween. A limited number of tickets are available.
