and her two amazing children took a Generations in the Wild family safari with last year. They had the incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with the Maasai Mara people in person and learn about their culture. Safaris are immersive learning opportunities children can’t experience anywhere else on earth.

Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a deeply personal story — the history of Pick A Safari and what it means to me, from the heart. 💛

This adventure began with the love and vision of my late wife, Jenny, who dreamt of creating safari experiences that connect people to the beauty and wonder of Africa. Though Jenny is no longer with us, her passion and legacy live on in every safari we host, every moment our guests experience, and every memory we create together.

From breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife to meaningful cultural connections, isn’t just about exploring Kenya — it’s about embracing the spirit of this magical land with the ones we love.

Jenny’s dream was to bring people together, bridging worlds and creating once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that stay with you long after you’ve returned home. With every step we take, we honor her vision.

had the absolute pleasure of surprising Alison Hartrum of with a vegan bush dinner at during her Wilderness Within solo safari experience with us. 🌱

In the heart of the wild, we set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience, surrounded by nature’s beauty. From the flavors to the atmosphere, it was all about creating a special, unique moment just for Alison.

Alison was blown away by this thoughtful surprise, having found it refreshingly easy to maintain a vegan diet in Kenya. We’re so grateful to have shared this special moment with her.
