Ya'll this event was so much fun. It is definitely for those who are brave enough to traverse the 10 Haunted houses and various scare zones. Since this was my first (But not last) time here, I learned a few things to pass along if you ever feel like packing your best scream on vacation.
๐ฆ Your day park ticket gets you into the stay and scream areas at 4 p.m. This allows you to get in line for your must-do house first! If you don't have a day ticket, you can purchase a Scream Early Ticket which gets you into the park and the stay and scream areas at 4pm as well. They started letting people into the Stranger Things house at 5:15 p.m. Note, that the general ticket holders didn't get access to the park until 6 p.m. We were done with our second house by then, and grabbing snacks.
๐ฆ The Express Pass or R.I.P Tour is very much worth the money if you plan on doing everything in one night. We were only able to complete 5 houses total, but we did take time to meet the Deatheaters, ride Gringotts, spend time in the scare zones, and try some exclusive snacks. We plan on doing the R.I.P Tour the next time we go. This allows you to skip ALL the lines and takes you straight to the front of the house, saving you so much time for the night.
๐ฆ The show is a MUST-DO! "Nightmare Fuel Revenge Dream" was so well choreographed and written, we saw it TWICE! Please note, this show is ADULT in nature, and I would only recommend it to those 18 years or older. It is a 30-minute show, with a mix of choreographed dance, acrobatics, and pyrotechnics. Each year there is a different iteration of the show, but it focuses on the same lore.
๐ฆ The houses are LOUD. Really Loud. If you are sensitive to loud noises and music, it may be best for you to bring earplugs. I promise this will not ruin the experience, you will still be able to hear what is going on. I saw a few people who had large headphones on due to this.

I've been having a blast staying at Universal Studios Orlando - Dockside Inn & Suites! This resort is the sister resort of Surfside Inn & Suites. Both are considered the Endless Summer Resort. Not only does this resort have standard 2 queen rooms, but also 2 bedroom suites! This resort is perfect for families on a budget. My favorite part? I can wake up and grab a coffee from the Starbucks located in the lobby!

Once you've selected your desired ride, scroll down the app page, and there it isโthe "Wait Time Alert" feature! Now, you can set your ideal wait time for that specific attraction. But wait, there's more! You can set as many alerts as you wish for various rides across the park. Keep your eyes peeled on the app's real-time updates for wait times at other attractions while you're at it. So, whether you're in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter or exploring the thrilling world of Jurassic Park, you can customize your experience and get timely notifications when the wait is just right.
