I booked this trip for my clients who knew exactly what they wanted! They have been to Walt Disney World before and stayed at the Contemporary Resort. They loved that they were able to walk to Magic Kingdom and easily hop over to Epcot on the monorail, so they wanted to stay there again. Their kids are older now, so they are able to do 5 days worth of parks, hopping between the parks and adding a day or two in there for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

I know I am late on this one. I have been so busy quoting and booking trips, which is such a blessing, that I’ve fallen behind on posting. My next couple of posts will be catching up on all the trips I’ve booked within the last few months!

I booked this back before Christmas. My clients gave this trip to their kiddos as a Christmas surprise and had the cutest scavenger hunt to go along with it. They are leaving in a little over a month and going on their spring break. It’s their first time to Walt Disney World as a family, and I’m so excited for them!

I can’t wait for my multigenerational family clients to set sail on their first Disney Cruise! They are using it as a mini family reunion and to celebrate their niece’s birthday. We have 142 days until we are back at the “happiest place on earth” (but who’s counting?!?! 😉) annndddd during my favorite season at Disney - FALL🍂

I love it for so many reasons:

🎃 The way Magic Kingdom is decorated with all the reds, yellows and oranges throughout the park, especially the lit-up Mickey lanterns at night

😎 Temps are cooler and there's usually much less rain than summertime

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Crowds are lower since everyone is back in school

🍷 There are fun events like the Food & Wine Festival in Epcot and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom

🎄And if you time it just right, you will also be able to see the park transform overnight into a Christmas wonderland on November 1st

I booked a trip to an all-inclusive resort, Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun, for a sweet couple who wants to escape the cold winter in February 2024.

Deciding on an all-inclusive resort can be time consuming and confusing. There so many to choose from and not all are created equal!

Some things to consider when booking one are:

✨ Are all of the food options on property
included in the price? At some resorts,
surprisingly no!

✨ How far is the resort from the airport?

✨ Are any water sports or excursions included?

✨ Which resort has the best beach?

The list goes on, but that’s where I come in as your travel agent! I do all of the research based upon what you want and know what to look for when you don’t. I also complete trainings all the time on different properties so I can add to my library of places to offer you.

Are you including Disney Springs in your plans for your trip to Walt Disney World? You may be thinking it is a waste of time, but I am here to tell you it’s not!

It has a lot to offer between shopping, restaurants, dessert shops and sometimes special events. It is the perfect arrival day or rest day activity. A few of our favorites, but not limited to are:

🧱The Lego Store - My boys love walking around the store and looking at all of the Lego sets. This is one of their “big” stores, so they have lots to choose from and sometimes theres sets that can’t be purchased anywhere else. They also love seeing the sculptures made out of legos. There is a Lego table if you have time to let your kids build their own creations!

🦖TRex Cafe - There are life-size dinosaurs all throughout the restaurant, and they growl as you eat. There is also a fossil pit your kids can play in while you wait or after you eat. My boys beg to come back every time we go to Disney Springs.

🍪 Gideon’s Bakehouse - Gideon's began as a local cookie shop in the East End Market in Orlando. They became so well known that they opened up their second location in Disney Springs! Cookies weigh a half of pound each and melt in your mouth. They have creative, rotating flavors that you can never go wrong with.

Orlando is ridiculously hot 8 months of the year, but that doesn’t stop anyone from visiting Walt Disney World! Now that it's going to begin heating back up in a few weeks, you have to know the tricks on how to beat the heat. Here are my top 3:

1️⃣ Bring a fan! I originally started bringing one for my babies so they wouldn’t overheat, but I found it’s very useful for me too. I recommend bringing its charging cord and a power bank to be able to recharge it in the parks.

2️⃣ Map out where the air conditioned attractions are in each park and build them into your day for cool down breaks. Some of my favorites are the Tiki Room and Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom, as well as the Lion King Show in Animal Kingdom.

3️⃣ Treat yourself to a Mickey Bar or Dole Whip for an afternoon snack. The Mickey Bars are my kids’ favorite hands down!

As a mom of boys, we love both Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. If I had to choose just one though, I’d choose Toy Story Land due to my boys’ ages. We love riding Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania! and Alien Swirling Saucers.

Did you know Walt Disney World has a Baby Care Center in every park?

They have everything you need: a quiet room for nursing, changing tables for diaper changes, bathrooms for yourself or older children and any baby product you may have forgotten. There’s also a seating area if you need a break in the A/C!

Make sure you map out where the Baby Care Center is in relation to the rides you are interested going on. Plan your rides based upon your child’s feedings and diaper changes to make the best use of your time for the day.

The best time of day to go on a popular ride at Magic Kingdom is during the fireworks show (only if you’ve already seen it 😉) or right after the show before the park closes.

If there’s a ride you couldn’t get on with Genie+ or Lightning Lanes, this is your time to ride!

My kids are all varying ages – 8, 5, 4 and 1. While the oldest does not nap anymore, the middle kiddos definitely need a “rest time”, and the baby needs a nap on vacation. Here are a few activities I like to pack for my kids to do during rest time [in addition to electronics]:

✨ Small toys such as Peppa Pig figurines, Paw Patrol figurines, barbies or cars

✨ Melissa & Doug Water WOW books

✨ UNO with cardholders for little hands

All of these activities are small and do not take up much space in your bags. Plus, it gives your kids something physical to play with and a taste of home!
