Our last resort we stayed at was Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets. Isla Mujeres is a relatively small island across from the Cancun area. You take a boat to get there. It has the prettiest ombre blue water, that I have seen in person.

This resort is adults only (18 and over) and is part of the Hyatt family. It is in a tier of its own with butler services for all rooms, catamaran services from the Cancun area to the resort (weather permitting), gorgeous and contemporary decor, delicious cuisine, and the views, WOW!

We had a site tour of Dreams Natura Resort & Spa. Lots of fun things for families and children to do!

There is a kids zone with arcade games a pool table and more, 2 waterslides, a rock climbing wall, roll glider/zip line, a lazy river, and several pools.

The spa is probably the prettiest spa we have seen. Such a beautiful space they created here.

If looking to get out of the cold with or even without your family, Dreams Natura, is a great option for you.

We are staying at Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen. It is located approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours from the Cancun Airport, depending on traffic. It is about 20 minutes from the famous 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen. Where there are lots of shopping to be had and experiencing quite a diverse selection of cuisines.

Secrets Moxche opened April 2022. It is a Hyatt brand that is part of the Inclusive Collection. Secrets is an adults only (18 and over) All-Inclusive Resort.

This property adjoins another brand, Impression Moxché by Secrets, that opened December 2023. It is an ultra luxury and lavish All-Inclusive Resort that is in a league of its own! For example, there is no check-in or check out time. You arrive at 12:01am and they have your flight itinerary, you accommodations will be ready upon your arrival. You receive a butler that can assist with unpacking, laundry services, and packing everything back up. All included!

Passport processing times will increase later this week for new applications. If you are traveling internationally this year, we recommend that you apply for your passport well in advance of your trip to avoid added travel stress. http://Travel.state.gov/passports

In addition, we recommend if traveling anytime soon, to confirm your Passports will be valid. The US Department of State recommends Passports to be valid for at least six months from the date of return travel. This may not be a required by the country you are traveling to but the airline you are flying could require it.

Major Update to REAL ID effective today, December 5, 2022!

The Department of Homeland Security announced Monday an extension of the Real ID deadline until May 7, 2025. The deadline had been May 3, 2023, but needed to be extended again due to the lingering impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The initial implementation date had been Oct. 1, 2021.
