Long post…..As I browse through Facebook, I am seeing an increase in persons who are experiencing anxiety. Anxiety occurs when there is a feeling of fear or apprehension on what’s to come. Anxiety is a way the body response to stress. I encourage you to limit your social media and negative television exposure. Seeing recurrent negative information regarding COVID-19 can increase anxiety. Create a routine for yourself. Exercise, listen to music, meditate, and eat healthy foods including a colorful plate-fruits and vegetables. Limit alcohol and caffeine intake because those can cause panic attacks and increase anger/aggression. Make sure you are getting at least six hours of sleep. Have s*x with your partner to elicit an or**sm. If you do not have a partner and it’s not against your religion, ma******te to manipulate an or**sm. Watch a comedy; laughter is good for us mentally. Think positive thoughts. If you find yourself thinking negative, tell yourself it could be worst. Think about things on the bright side. Engage in your talents. Start writing your book or finishing that recreational project. Talk to someone. There are many therapist taking tele-health calls during this time. Valerian root tea and chamomile tea are also calming and helps with relaxation. Smell your essential oils to relax. Lastly, close your eyes, breath slow and deeply in and out 10 times while smiling and see how you feel. Try it now!! Conquer your anxiety! Don’t let it control you! Peace, health and blessings!!
