Join us tonight for Stargazing with Wayne Hicks and Wayne Brasure and featuring our large and lovely telescope.

Meet at the concrete slab in from of the Museum classroom. Socializing starts at 8pm and stargazing starts at 9pm. Astrophotography help will be offered. All are welcome.

We’ve had a fabulous variety of outings the past few days with guests from all over the US. From mountain biking at La Tierra to off-roading at Diablo Canyon, snowshoeing up in the mountains, visiting Bandelier and Tsankawi, and driving to Taos for the New Year’s Day Turtle Dances, it has been a blast. We love sharing the history and culture of New Mexico, and showing visitors the places we love. We particularly enjoy taking families on our adventures and find it so rewarding when kids appreciate being outdoors. One teenager said of his bike ride with Georges, “What a day!”
