TSA will begin installation of new security checkpoint scanners at LBB April 24, 2023. This installation process is expected to take a couple weeks. Travelers should expect delays during the process and are encouraged to arrive early to allow for extended security check times.

I’m about to embark on my 1 year anniversary of being a travel agent. This has been such a rewarding job to me. I absolutely love planning trips, I love helping people, and I love seeing families making lifetime memories.
I have been in Hospitality management for over 30 years. I have a Masters Degree from Texas Tech in Hospitality. I have always planned trips for my family, our baseball trips, or dance trips. It truly is my passion. I have used a travel agent many times before I became one. Why? The reasons are listed below…..

“I think a lot of people misunderstand what travel agents do. Yes, they quote and book vacations. Yes, they make personalized itineraries and plans for you. Yes, this costs you nothing extra over booking it yourself.

What they don't do is get paid if you don't book with them. They are not paid an hourly wage. They are only compensated on trips they book, and only after you return home from traveling. So that Mexico vacation, cruise, all-inclusive resort stay, etc. that you book on your own - they could have booked it for the same price or sometimes cheaper but you would have helped them build their business. at no cost to you. Booking with a travel agent is a win-win!

The cost of their services is already included in the cost you pay, whether you use an agent or not. Essentially you are paying for a service you are not receiving.

You want to travel with the peace of mind of a professional agent with industry relationships to be there for support because we have all seen things don’t always go perfect”
