☆ Florida State Parks fill up quick! So reserve early. Some even allow reservations up to 11 months in advance.
☆ Most Florida State Parks leave a % of sites open for walk ups (day of reservations). So if you can be spontaneous you might get lucky!
☆ Private campgrounds tend to have more availability "last minute" so can be another great option for those who don't/can't plan a year an advance.
☆ Certain times of year are busier than others (usually holidays and breaks from school for kids) but for the most part camping is year around in Florida so plan accordingly!
☆ We love giving recommendations on great places to camp! Including our favorite spots and events our favorite sites at the campground! So feel free to ask. We want your camping experience to be an amazing one!
