Dear friends, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided not to renew my travel agent license in 2025 due to personal reasons. I appreciate everyone that has supported me for the last year and a half. I will not tolerate anyone telling me I didn’t give this business a chance or didn’t work hard enough to make it successful with only doing it for less than 2 years. If you don’t know the reasons why I began this journey and don’t know the reason for this decision to not continue on, you have no place in criticizing me. I have enjoyed this last year and half and have learned more than I ever thought I could learn about the world of travel and will take what I’ve learned with me forever. That being said, I will still be a licensed agent for the rest of 2024 and would be more than happy to assist anyone with any travel needs they may have that they would like to book before the end of 2024 (even if travel is not in 2024).

For those of you thinking of traveling and using a travel agent, if there’s one piece of advice I can give you is if you’re going to begin your vacation journey with a travel agent, PLEASE follow through with booking your vacation with that agent. Travel agents see it time and time again where someone contacts them about a trip, the agent does all the work in finding the perfect option for the client but then the client goes off on their own and books the trip themselves. You may think you’re saving yourself money, however that is not true. What people don’t know is the price of a stay at a hotel or resort, the price of a rental car, the price of cruises and much more has travel agent commission BUILT INTO the price. Thus, when you book these things on your own you’re STILL paying this commission price but instead of your money going to an agent who could actually use the money, you’re giving that money to the company you booked through that already makes millions and millions each year. This means you’re paying for a service you’re not even untlizing.
