Tetric CAD and e.max

Since it is August we will continue with the TetricCAD material. Hybrid ceramics can play a vital role in our offices since they are the perfect answer for some clinical situations. Here is a case where an emergency came in and we can all see the second molar needed some significant help from a strong durable esthetic material. We have to remember not to have tunnel vision when these emergencies come in and look at the whole playing field. The first molar also needs assistance to return to health. Partial coverage is needed. Could be direct or in my case since I was imaging the the quadrant it was decided to do a partial coverage with TetricCAD- indirect restoration. By doing the restorations this way, I can restore the patient where machine time is used, not the doctor or staff's time. TetricCAD HT A2 blends in well when placed in with Adhese Universal and a translucent cement. Looking real good with the patient's teeth and his new IPS e.Max MT A3
