Welcome to The Fairways of Halfmoon, a new addition to the New York Golf Trail! This terrific course is just south of Saratoga, giving us five partner courses in the Saratoga region to go with three hotels and inns. The Fairways of Halfmoon even has its own craft brewery on site. Maybe that's why we've already booked over 100 rounds here this year!

Saratoga will be hopping this year with The Belmont Stakes, the third leg of racing's Triple Crown, relocating here on Saturday, June 8th.

Congratulations to Leatherstocking Golf Course in Cooperstown for being named the 3rd Best Golf Course in New York State by Trip Advisor. Leatherstocking is one of the New York Golf Trail's most popular courses, with a unique island tee on the 18th hole.

Our first golf trip of the year is in the books...a foursome from Pennsylvania loved their Finger Lakes golf trip last weekend!

"A 10 out of 10! We could not have asked for a better trip. We could not believe the value of the trip considering how nice the courses were. Our golf travel agent, Nancy, was extremely helpful in getting our tee times changed when rain was forecast on Sunday. This was a great trip with incredible value!"

A foot of snow on the ground, but we just booked an all-inclusive buddy trip for 50 golfers for June. They're coming from Connecticut to play our Saratoga courses. Never too early for the die-hards!

June is a big month for golf trips. More than 40 groups are playing the Trail this month, ranging in size from two to 30 golfers. Kudos to Rob Wojtasik's group, which organizes a Ryder-Cup style competition, complete with signs, color programs, course guides and prizes. They gave us a thumbs up from the cart! We also welcomed back for another year the Steve Jensen, Jason Holman and Andrew Handley groups! Nice guys and pretty good golfers:)

Another great year for the Trail! We booked over 3,000 rounds (and 190 trips) for 1,400 golfers from Australia, the UK, Germany, Quebec, Ontario, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts!

We were also able to accommodate a few last-minute trips this month that were originally planned for Myrtle Beach but were canceled due to the hurricane.
