Our Mardi Gras Cruise Aug 7, 2021 sailing was on the western itinerary.

I've been cruising since the first of July. People are naturally curious so here's the scoop: I'm staying home a week between trips and testing. Yes, I'm vax'd. I will test on Thursday then again Saturday before boarding Horizon.
Travel is accessible.

We all need to understand the protocols in place are there to keep us in a position to travel and maybe one day get back to (somewhat) normalcy.

This is where we are going tonight for dinner. No reservations needed, just walk up between 530 - 930pm.
You have so many complimentary options for lunch and dinner. I LOVE variety! 😋
Throughout the day / evening the Backyard band will play. This video was early morning and they were utilizing the space for movie quote triva.

Mardi hasn't begun showing her productions. Covid delayed the cast training but they expect the new shows to start in November.
For now they are showing Rock Revolution (1st vid) and 3 other productions.
The 2nd video is of the cast on center stage as a preview of all 4 shows. They sang 1 song from each show as a teaser. The names of the productions are on the screen behind them.

Riding Bolt. You board on deck 19. The thrilling part was being on a coaster that high as we were sailing in the middle of the ocean. Now I can say, "been there, done that. "

Hot tip.... the drink stations are TOUCHLESS.
I'm not sure why but everyone is still pushing the button even though it's clearly labeled. 🤷 🤣

Our cabin sleeps 3 with the sofabed. The storage options are designable to fit your needs.The accent lighting is fantastic! This cabin has more USBs than I've ever seen in any ship.

All caught up with work. Time to pack! I guess that will not be too hard since I have been washing & throwing the same clothes in the suitcase after my travels since the 1st of July. I just need to organize the clothes into packing cubes & I am done!
