TRON has exclusively been a Virtual Que line option since opening day but starting September 9, 2024, it will switch to a standard Stand-By Que.

If you have an upcoming Disney trip, TRON should be on your bucket list! TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom is a fast roller coaster where you ride on a motorcycle-like seat called a Lightcycle. The ride starts indoors, where you launch quickly into a dark tunnel filled with glowing lights, and then you zoom outside and back inside again, all while twisting and turning through a futuristic world!

It seriously feels like you're inside a video game, with lots of cool lights and sounds making it an exciting and unique experience 🤩 Height Requirement is 48” with the ideal rider being an older child, teen or adult

The creative minds at Disney Live Entertainment will transform Sunset Showcase into the mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror. The show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers, with fiendish foes Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent each breaking through the glass to take the stage in live production numbers.

You still have until October 7th to enjoy Lightning McQueen at Disney World! Sad to see it go but thrilled that Disney is finally giving us villain focused entertainment that we’ve been begging for 🤩

I have been lacking on the self care aspect of my life like most moms do when they have busy kids to take care of 🙈 So yesterday, I took the day off to go do some self care and got to support two clients that always support me ❤️

I have been under the weather this week and thought my back was out of wack. She cares about her patients and her Clive location is so welcoming & cozy. I immediately felt better after leaving her office yesterday and can tell even my brain fog has cleared from being put back together. Happy Back To School weekend for those that thought they were prepared yesterday for the first day but actually weren’t 🙈

I had the school supplies, I had the clothes, but what I failed to do was make sure we had BREAD 🤦🏼‍♀️ so these two started out the year with school lunch instead of their usual home lunches 😂

I’m spending the weekend doing lots of client meetings, setting up reservations, doing new quotes and preparing for our own trip coming up so soon!

One of the things that no one tells you when you get off social media is all the little details you were overlooking in your life ☀️

A little over 3 weeks ago, I decided I needed a Facebook break from my personal Facebook. It was getting a little too heavy/political for me & just taking up too much of my mental space. I couldn’t get off of it completely without losing this page as well as a few groups I’m apart of, but I just knew my mental health needed to stop scrolling it for awhile.

Since then, I feel like I have been able to get myself back in my own lane. I have realized there are more important people (and things) that need me to be running at my fullest potential without the weight of keeping up with the latest on social media. I have also developed a better understanding of what I want to be putting out on social media to prevent others from getting to the point I was at.

Thank you for allowing me to take up space on your timeline. I hope I am bringing you helpful information, joy and laughs along the way 🤗

The school supplies are labeled, the bag is packed, and I’m still not ready 😭

Back to school time is so bittersweet as a mom. I’m so so proud of my kids and want to see them continue to learn, but I just wish time would quit going so fast ❤️‍🩹

This is also the first year I’ve been a ‘label maker’ mom and man that stuff is time consuming 😮‍💨

We are fortunate enough to be able to enjoy Haunted Mansion whether we visit Disney World or Disneyland! They have similarities and they also have quite a few differences:

Location and Exterior Design

▪️ Disneyland (California)
The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland is located in New Orleans Square, which influences its exterior design. You can find Haunted Mansion is the Disneyland Resort theme park.

▪️ Walt Disney World (Florida)
The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom in Disney World is in Liberty Square, which has a colonial American theme. You can find Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom.

🎃 Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion transforms into Haunted Mansion Holiday with characters from Nightmare Before Christmas which completely transforms the ride for the Halloween and Christmas season (pictured in the Disneyland photo below)

👻Both attractions feature the same "Ghost Host" narration, but the script and some audio effects differ slightly between the two.

⏰The ride in Disney World is slightly longer, with additional scenes.

Haunted Mansion is my personal favorite Disney Ride so having it on both coasts is always a joy for me! Love them both tremendously but if I had to pick one, I’m going with Disneyland because of the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay

Yesterday was a core memory day 🔮

I’m about to start my busiest season at work & am fully prepared to be in hustle mode until the holidays 😮‍💨 Khyler had a pretty hefty doctor appointment so we decided to make a full day of activities! I took the entire day off from all things work and spent the whole day doing some things Khyler loves (besides being poked with needles)

1️⃣ Had breakfast & played at PLAYgrounds Cafe
2️⃣ Made our first trip of the year to Spirit Halloween
3️⃣ Had Chickfila for Lunch
4️⃣ Went to Target
5️⃣ Went to the Lego store

Khyler told me I was the best mom that he’s ever had so I’m going to take that as a win 😉 also, if you haven’t checked out Playgrounds Cafe in Waukee, it is absolutely perfect, especially on rainy days like yesterday ☔️

Disneyland vs. Disney World- Halloween Edition

You may or may not know this, but there are different pumpkins at both parks for the Halloween season! My very first trip to WDW many years ago, I personally was so excited to see the iconic Mickey Pumpkin! To my surprise, there was not just one giant Mickey pumpkin, but 6 pumpkins (3 stacked on each side) at the end of Main Street. So in case seeing the giant Mickey Pumpkin is on your bucket list:

Disney World➡️ 3 smaller pumpkins stacked on each side

Cannot wait to be reunited with the Mickey Pumpkin in a few weeks 🤩

I am a diehard homebody, but weekends like this are good for the soul ❤️

On Saturday, I went to brunch at the Breakfast Club & saw It Ends with Us in the theater with a pretty awesome group of girls. Then yesterday, we ventured to the state fair to eat all our favorite foods and got to see some of our favorite people!

Weekends like this one just made me realize who I am surrounding myself with is so crucial to my mental health. Your life should be spent surrounded by the people that make you laugh, ask about your life, care about your kids and just overall fill your cup up. Very very thankful to have those people in my life ❤️

PS- We didn’t love the AE Party Balls. They weren’t bad by any means, I just think I overhyped them in my head 😂

SO MANY HUGE ANNOUNCEMENTS WERE MADE LAST NIGHT AT D23 😵 like seriously, things that I always hoped would happen are now officially in the works at the Disney Parks and the next few years are going to be MAJOR! Here is a summary:

-Villains land coming to Magic Kingdom
-Monsters Inc Land coming to Hollywood Studios
-Cars Land coming to Magic Kingdom (a western version in Frontierland)
-Indiana Jones & Encanto attractions coming to Animal Kingdom
-Avatar ride coming to California Adventure
-New Avenger expansion coming to California Adventure
-Zootopia replaces tough to be a bug show at Animal Kingdom
-Coco attraction coming to California Adventure
-Tiana’s Bayou opening at Disneyland November 15, 2024
-New nighttime parade “Disney Starlight” coming to Magic Kingdom

And so much more! There are plenty of people that can go to Disney once in their life and be satisfied with that, but I just truly couldn’t imagine never going again, especially when they continue to make updates, additions and improvements! SO EXCITED!!

Do you ever just want something so bad you cannot stop thinking about it? 😂

At the beginning of the summer, I started doing more research on snake plants and how amazing they are to have in your house (especially with having a child with asthma). On one of my trips to Albia a few months ago, this giant snake plant caught my eye BUT I did not buy it.

I kept telling myself I didn’t know where I would even put it so therefore I didn’t need it. All summer, I kept an eye on inspireu_allthingsgood’s page and creeped on this plant in the background of their pictures {picture of their posts to reference how crazy I was becoming about it}

Last Friday, I stumbled upon this random video on TikTok of a girl sharing her “day in the life” video and saw her set up with her giant snake pant. I instantly started thinking of the things I could order to make a similar set up and therefore I would have FOUND a spot for this snake plant that I was dying to have.

Long story long, I drove back to Albia last weekend to bring it home with me 🤩 I officially have a snake plant in every room of my house which makes me feel so accomplished even though I do not have a green thumb whatsoever 😂

PS- if you need a natural air purifier, a snake plant is a must in your house!

Pumpkin wreaths are officially up on Main Street which means Halloween season is ALMOST HERE 🎃

Last year, I attended both Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World AND Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland. This year I couldn’t fit it in the schedule to make it back down to Orlando, but I am THRILLED to be going to Oogie Boogie Bash again this year 🤩

If you’re wondering if it ever gets old, it doesn’t 🤪 40 days and counting until I’m back HOME 🏰

“How do you do it all?”

I get this question quite a bit. And frankly some days, I question how I am still somewhat sane 🤪 but the truth is, I have a really amazing support system.

Nights like tonight where I have back to back meetings after work-work, quotes to get to clients and vacations to book, I have amazing people in my life that I can call when I just really need some help. Whether it’s my in laws taking the boys to hitting practice or my parents keeping my daughter so I can meet with my clients without worrying about having a screaming child in the background, I am beyond thankful for my people. ❤️

(Also, I think she was being sarcastic. My child is an angel for everyone except for me)🥲

Rip, Ride Rockit 🚀

One of the very first coasters that you will see while entering Universal Studios 🤯 This ride is a high-adrenaline roller coaster located at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando.

As soon as you sit down and get strapped in, riders can select their own music from a list of genres and songs, which plays through speakers built into the headrest. Kickstart My Heart is my go to for this 🎸

Universal’s Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit begins with a vertical lift hill, taking you straight up at a 90-degree angle. This is a unique and thrilling start, providing an incredible view of the park as you plunge to your worst nightmare 😉

The ride lasts about 1 minute and 40 seconds, and will have you laughing & screaming from start to finish. It reaches speeds of up to 65 mph and features a maximum drop of 167 feet. 😏

This ride has certain height and health restrictions. Typically, riders must be at least 51 inches tall to ride. Additionally, the ride may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions due to its intense nature.

If there’s one thing about me, I will always “take the trip”

I have seen more devastation lately than I have in a very long time when it comes to life & losing loved ones. No matter the age, no matter how amazing of a person you are, none of us are guaranteed to see the sun rise tomorrow.

I have mostly planned vacations during happy times but I have also planned vacations that will be their very last vacation they ever take.

When it’s my time to go, it will be inevitable. But if there’s one thing that eases the anxiety, it’s that I traveled. I chased the dream. I helped other people travel & chase their dream.

See the places, book the trips and do it all with the people you love the most. Even if it’s a road trip a few hours away or on the other side of the world. You will never regret it ✈️

This is your sign to jump back on the meal planning train before school starts in three weeks🤯

We have been in go mode all summer and kind of started a bad habit of just "winging it" for dinner, which as a type A person, that just usually ends up in me being overwhelmed, eating dinner at 8 PM or just ordering take out instead.

Planning out what you are having for meals, shopping for the groceries in two week increments and not having to guess what you're having for dinner or if you have the ingredients is a game changer. If you don't already do this, I highly recommend it!

Take me back to Wilderness Lodge 🐻🔥 This was a Disney resort that was never really on my radar to stay at until I stayed here back in January. The vibe was extremely cozy, the capability to take a boat to Magic Kingdom was fantastic and the pool was a DREAM! Disney has some really really amazing resort options! I used to be in the mindset of ‘I can stay anywhere, it’s not like I will be at the hotel much anyways’ and now that I stay at Disney Deluxe resorts, I always want one day of just hanging out at the resort and truly enjoying the beauty of Disney outside of the parks.
