Happy Fall Everyone!

I just want to remind all of my followers that Tour Season in Idlewild is May -Oct 1. Followed by Hunting Season Oct 15, Deer Hunting Season Nov 15, and a cold ass Winter Season which is not a good visiting time.

Welcome to all my App Followers! I will have some engaging content for y’all starting in January 2023. And my season starts back up in May 2023. I have received all of your messages, and apologize I am typically unable to respond.

To be honest, Covid kick my business season butt for 3 years straight, I am my only employee, and am working on many things to revitalize my business.

Please stay tuned for the shift in Business, as I’m positive other people are offering tours as competition, and I welcome it- so that HITS, LLC. Can revisit our mission and purpose. After 15 years of providing well-researched tours and community activism in Idlewild, we are “Pivoting” to explore new ideas and engagements!

The Tour Guide's responsibilities include responding to on-call Your opportunities via digital communication tools, familiarizing customers with the locality by vehicle, bike, or foot, and ensuring that the group remains safe at all times.

Docents will complete HITS Training on site seeing attractions and locality information. Must have own transportation (vehicle/licence, bicycle, mobility), be willing to have tourists in their vehicle or get into tourists’ vehicles.

Youth, seniors, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply. All Docents will work using an on-call Schedule, based on your booking sales. Docents can earn commission for tour sales, tips for tours conducted, and a base wage of $10/hour. Base wage increases with completion of advanced Docent training courses, and number of tourists in a group.

Being a Tour Guide is the perfect way to work around the clock in the summer and show off your community to tourists.
