This one may be controversial but we love DinoLand in our family. The theming in this land is so good if you know the story behind it. And it features the cutest character meet and greet of all time (Chip and Dale as dinosaurs- are you kidding me!?)
Itâs hard to believe that DinoLand as we know it will officially be no more in just a few days. On January 13, Chester & Hester's Dinosaur Treasures, Fossil Fun Games, and TriceraTop Spin will close permanently. Guests will still be able to visit The Boneyard and Dinosaur the ride throughout 2025. DinoLand will be replaced with Pueblo Esperanza, a land themed to the tropical Americaâs featuring Encanto and Indiana Jones.
I know I will be sad to see this land go. Weâve made a lot of memories here playing the games and running around The Boneyard.

We had planned to watch the fireworks from behind the castle (which I highly recommend everyone try at least once). We found some spots with no one around and while we waited for fireworks to begin, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train reopened after closing for a passing storm. We immediately hopped in line and since we were behind behind the castle already we were some of the first ones on the ride. As soon as the train started making its way up the first hill, the fireworks began. Listening to Happily Ever After while riding Mine Train and watching the fireworks overhead is one of my core Disney memories.
Make all the plans, do all the research, but donât be afraid to be spontaneous, go with the flow and change the plans if needed. Thereâs magic in so many unexpected moments.
