Sharing my favorite Poke places in Waikiki

What it is: Poke is a raw fish salad, usually made with ahi (yellowfin tuna), marinated in sea salt, soy sauce, sesame oil, and seaweed. It’s fresh, flavorful, and a staple in Hawaiian cuisine.

- Ono Seafood: it is popular for its fresh and delicious poke bowls.

While we understand this move aims to enhance the travel experience, we have to admit we’re not exactly thrilled about it. Part of Southwest’s unique charm has always been the open seating policy, allowing the freedom to choose your seat when you board.

We know many of you, like us, enjoyed the flexibility and spontaneity of the current system. However, we hope this new change will still offer a pleasant and efficient travel experience for everyone.

Make sure you and your clients are REAL ID compliant by May 7, 2025 to prevent any disruptions in travel plans. Travelers who use a driver’s license as identification at TSA checkpoints must present a REAL ID-compliant license to board domestic flights, which are generally identifiable by a gold star in the upper-right corner.
