It was an exciting weekend sailing off the coast of St. Augustine! Wild weather and close calls always makes for some good stories!

Last weekend was the Mt Dora Regatta. This race has a long history and, if I’m correct, it’s the longest running inland regatta in the nation, this being the 71st year.

We took 3rd in our division this year which was great! There were many great sailors that come out for this race, but the coolest thing to see was the almost 70 youth sailors racing on optis, lasers and 420s! Sailing is not a dying sport at all!
