It's easy to see why photographers and travellers love this remote location in Australia's North West; the combo of turquoise water, white sand, red cliffs and green hinterland almost has to be seen to be believed!

May Gibbs was an Australian children's author, illustrator, and cartoonist. She is best known for her gumnut babies, and the book Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Every child growing up in Australia woud have read these books. This is an original May Gibbs drawing that she drew in 1919 for the Spanish Flu epidemic.

Now history is repeating itself, please wear a mask to keep yourself and everyone else safe.

10 days or more! To much to see and experience!

This is our beautiful state of Tasmania, with a population just over 1/2 a million people with 28 local councils taking care of us.
We lie in the same parallel in the southern hemisphere, as the Mediterranean Sea,in the north, and are the same size as Belgium and the Netherlands put together, so please don't think that you can travel , and see the state in 3 DAYS. Just enjoy one area , and come back many times as you will be amazed with what we have to offer. Over 45% of the island is protected in National Parks and Reserves as shown by different shades of green , so when planning to visit , please do your homework., or email [email protected]
