Rachel Danhoff and I would like to thank all our clients for such an incredible 2024! We have made new friends/clients, shared experiences with lots of clients, and we are now ready to gear up for 2025!!!

We are already booking into 2026, so let us know if you would like some help with trip planning! Rachel has killed it this year in everything, but especially in her Hawaii trips she has booked!!

We have some group trips set up for next year, and a few others we are looking at for 2026. Tahiti, Africa, Christmas Markets, Ireland, Alaska, and my favorite all inclusives!!!

Great information on the different islands in the Azores. I love out here so much.

These islands may be famous for hiking and volcanos, but they also have a unique cuisine, exceptional wines and vibrant cultural traditions.

Even travel agents have crappy flying days. Have been at JFK for 9 hours, and sitting in a hot plane for an hour. Geez…Chris said who did you use for a travel agent for this trip??! But it will be worth it!!

Who knew the flight from jfk is only 4 hours and 40 minutes to San Miguel Island. Here are a couple facts I googled on the Azores, since I’ve been at this airport for 9 hours (getting ready to take off though).

All Azorian islands were created through volcanic activity. The oldest island, Santa Maria is estimated to be somewhat between 8 and 15 million years old while the youngest island, Pico, first reached the oceans surface around 250.000 years ago.

The Azores comprise nine islands, each a mythical, magical land of volcanoes, bubbling thermal waters, geysers of rising steam, turquoise-toned lagoons, and bottle-green lakes.

The Azorean myth is that when human beings moved to the island they brought with them their sins. Their sins bring ghostly figures down from the top of the mountain—the eruption of the volcano.

There you go….. follow along for some amazing scenery!!! San Miguel Island is first - Capital is Ponta Delgada, ever we fly into.
