Good morning everyone! Because I travel with my daughter who has special needs, we’re always allowed to board the plane first but the last to exit. This is primarily because we have to wait for her stroller. So sometimes I tend to use this time to strike up conversations with the crew while everyone else is practically “trampling” over one another getting their items from the overhead compartments and rushing to leave. 🤣

Having the added protection through travel insurance was the best decision I made. We experienced several major hiccups while on our 10-day excursion back in 2017. One of the tours we scheduled was canceled by the tour company because someone on their end dropped the ball. My daughter got sick and I had to pay for her doctor's visit and prescription out of pocket. All flights were canceled due to inclement weather. As a result, what was supposed to be a one-day sightseeing tour in Lake Tahoe turned into an overnight stay with basically nothing but the clothes on our backs. Needless to say the extra meals, the Walmart run (for essentials we already had but left back in Vegas), Uber rides, change flight fees and an extra hotel stay all added up and were costly. But was I ever so happy that I added travel insurance. Filing the claim was a seamless process and I was reimbursed fairly quickly.

WELCOME EVERYONE TO MY TRAVEL PAGE! I am the CEO and Founder of Travel Biz Creations.

It has always been my dream to travel more once I became an empty nester. However, as the primary caretaker of my youngest who has special needs, becoming an empty nester is something that will never happen. But that doesn't mean I have to give up my dream of traveling. My daughter also loves to travel and it's an experience that she deserves to have but isn't able to do for herself. As a result, starting a travel business became a no-brainer for me.

Ultimately my goal is to live the life of a Digital Nomad where we travel 3-6 months out of the year. And as a Travel Advisor, I get to help others create lasting and life-changing memories, work from anywhere in the world, earn an income, and have fun in the process.
