Today we highlight Purpose Pushers co-author LaDonna Mixon! LaDonna is the creator and curator of holistic beauty wellness at Sankofa Creations Spalon based in Jacksonville, FL. The Spalon is a sacred healing space which specializes in therapeutic beauty services in an atmosphere of tranquility, professionalism and integrity. After graduating Valedictorian of Ghent Beauty Academy in Norfolk, VA in 2001, she hit the ground running to craft her expertise as a Licensed Cosmetologist while also maintaining a career in Benefits Operations at CitiStreet, Towers Perrin, EDS, ING and Voya. After 14 years in Corporate America, LaDonna took a leap of faith to be a full time Entrepreneur. She brings 18 years of mastery in cosmetology with a specialty in Natural Hair.

LaDonna has served as Beauty Expo Hair Director, National Brand Event Coordinator, Co-owner of non profit organization Living4Today Inspirations, Inc., co-founder of The Inner Circle Book Club and Praise/Worship Leader. She also is an experienced speaker, dancer, singer, inspirational writer and radio host. LaDonna is a proud mom to two beautiful young adults Darrien and Aaliyah.
