Located in Bullitt County just off Interstate I-65 at the Brooks exit, Whispering Oaks is in a quiet suburban neighborhood close to shopping, employment and schools. Whispering Oaks Pointe has a community center that can be used for large gatherings, as well as a fitness center, playground, recreation area, basketball courts, and Lake Sassafras for fishing. Whispering Oaks is served by Brooks Elementary School, Hebron Middle School, and North Bullitt High School.
