A fun fact about the Temple of Karnak is that it is the largest religious complex ever built in human history! Covering over 200 acres, it was constructed over nearly 2,000 years by more than 30 different pharaohs, each adding their own structures, statues, and inscriptions. The most famous part of Karnak is the Great Hypostyle Hall, which features 134 massive columns, some towering up to 80 feet high—so big that 100 people could stand on top of just one column’s capital!
