Great News!! A few weeks ago we were advised that Osceola Chamber of Commerce together with Experience Kissimmee had awarded our Housekeeping Supervisor, Kelly, Kissimmee Employee of the Month from the nomination we had put forward - as had many other businesses in the Kissimmee area. We have now been advised that Kelly is a finalist in the Spirit of Hospitality Awards to be held at the end of September. We have always said we have exceptional staff and now one of them is being recognised across the whole of Osceola County ... Yay Kelly!!!!

We want to thank one of our ex-homeowners for his glowing testimonial of how we looked after his home as an owner and the standards we continue to keep for all our owners' homes.

Not all Vacation Property Management companies keep the same standards and it is gratifying when the standards we keep are acknowledged.

Linda helped this owner - Nigel - sell his vacation home in 2015 - a home we had managed for 8 years.

Here is an extract from his email to us today. He is staying in a rental home managed by another company .....
YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD ON HOW YOU RUN YOUR BUSINESS IT'S A SHAME THAT OTHER COMPANIES HAVEN'T GOT YOUR STANDARDS - Nigel.

"I've had to pop across to Florida and did look to see what you had but there wasn't anything available. Anyway it may be your HIGH STANDARD OF MANAGEMENT THAT WE ARE USED TO but the villa we have booked through VRO is a disgrace. It's in need of urgent maintenance, sheets/towels are old, stained; the settees (sofas) are that bad we have put sheets on them. TVs are not working and old, when we first arrived we had to go straight to Walmart for ant/cockroach killer as the games room was left with food/drink on the floor and was infested, the place just makes you want to itch all day. There is very little information around the place and to top it all off my eldest has an infection that we are sure is from the pool. The people we booked it through VRO are not replying to my emails.

A few hints and tips for enjoying the theme parks

To save money on attraction ticket packages we have an agreement with Kissimmee Guest Services who offer special rates for our guests.

At the park to avoid the early morning rush start from the back of the park and work your way round anti-clockwise

If you've already seen the parades then use that time to visit the major attractions as lines tend to be shorter

Tuesday - Thursday tend to be quieter days at the theme parks

If you have park hopper passes for 14 days then visit some the the theme parks on an evening - however watch out for closing times as Universal has earlier closing times during low season.

If you don't want to pay for bottled water or use the water fountain you can ask for a cup of water - all the theme parks will give you a free cup of water if you ask.

When visiting Kennedy Space Center allow enough time to also take in one of the 3D space film in the IMAX theater - it's included in your ticket price.

If there is a launch scheduled during opening hours then normal ticket price applies, if it's outside opening hours a pre-purchased special launch ticket is required ... or you can watch the launch from any of the parks around the area or from the beach.

It might be worth purchasing a couple of dining plan tickets in the park ... you don't necessarily need one for every member as you can visit the participating restaurants at any time so if some members want to eat at a different time this would be a good option although some plans are valid for up to 4 people

If you have young children an adult meal for 1 will usually be more than enough for 2 children
