For all our Spring Breakers wanting some snow action, here comes another wintery blast!

It's shaping up to be an active week weather wise around the state. First up is a low pressure system expected to bring rain & snow showers late Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. A second much stronger and colder storm is forecast to impact the region Thursday stretching into early Friday, bringing the potential for heavy snow to the high country and lighter snow as low as 4000 feet elevation.

A low pressure system will affect northern Arizona next week. The initial round of precipitation is expected to begin Monday morning in western Coconino/Yavapai and spread eastward through the day. Here is a preliminary snowfall forecast through this period. Additional rain and snow showers are expected Tuesday through Thursday, we'll have more details on that coming up so stay tuned!
