Clients have returned from their fist back-to-back post-COVID cruise aboard the Celebrity Millennium from St Maarten. They had a wonderful experience with only about 5-600 passengers onboard a 2100 passenger ship as the cruise lines slowly roll-out their voyages. They said they could get spoiled this way...no lines, plenty of seating in preferred locations around the ship, all passengers and crew HAPPY to be on the open seas again!

Erik and I leave Friday for Nassau, Bahamas to board the Royal Caribbean, Adventure of the Seas on Saturday. We hope to experience a similar situation. Will update you as we have the opportunity to do so. Today we got our COVID 19 PCR test (a cruise line requirement for the cruise we are taking...each cruise line and departure port is different based on policies in the state/country you are departing from). We are fully vaccinated and everyone on the ship that can be vaccinated will be vaccinated but this is still a precautionary requirement for our cruise.

Went out and bought some new shorts this weekend....hadn't bought any new clothing throughout COVID so it was time to get some shorts! :)

Hi everyone! Hope all are well. Erik and I are fully vaccinated and very excited to be embarking on our first cruise since January 2020...in July from Nassau, Bahamas on Royal Caribbean. We also have several clients cruising with Celebrity, from St Maarten, in June. In the meantime, the entire cruise industry is working hard to get fully restarted. Well, if you are like us, you are ready to travel! Royal Caribbean just opened up 7 night Bahamas/Cozumel cruises out of Nassau, Bahamas for June-September 2021. Celebrity opened up 7 night Southern Caribbean cruises from St Maarten for the same time period! And with Celebrity, drinks, wi-fi and gratuities are included!

So guess what, we just made reservations for ourselves on the Adventure of the Seas for July 10, 2021! Who wants to join us?

Vaccines are required and pre-travel COVID testing plus pre-return testing (administered onboard) prior to returning to the US.

We are as curious as you are about how post-COVID cruising will look but we know for sure, we are ready to give it a try. So, if you are too, give us a call! We will be happy to prepare a quote.

And flight prices don't look too terribly bad either. We booked roundtrip non-stop air from Charlotte for $349 pp.

Can't wait for 2 days at Royal Caribbean's newest private island, Perfect Day at Cococay! I had a chance to visit when it opened but parts were still under construction and I can't wait to return. It was beautiful before it was even finished.

Hi everyone, long time no chat. I am still here!!! Yes, 2020 has been rough for all of us but we will get through it. Hope you are all well!!! Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year (yes, please be a Happy 2021) and all those things! Besides being buried in cancellation paperwork, I have also buried myself in my animal rescue volunteer role this year and our organization has adopted out 1225+ animals to date this year (as compared to 600 the previous year). So no sleeping in for me!

When will we start sailing again, your guess is as good as mine. Maybe March (in a limited capacity) but I would guess April or later (still in a limited capacity). I think a lot will depend on distribution of a vaccine.

But, rest assured, I will be here when you are ready to travel again! I know Erik and I are ready to travel again.

The cruise lines, resorts and tour companies are offering some interesting promotions for late 2021 and 2022 so keep watching for those.

NCL is offering an interesting promotion, through your travel agent. Basically future cruise credits that can be applied when you are ready to book something...good for double the value of your cash! Maybe a good Christmas gift for that NCL cruiser in your life. Let me know if I can answer any questions or forward the terms and conditions. I am travelling to visit family today but I will be back in the office on Tuesday.

Going to try Regent, in the Med, in April after our SE Asia cruise was recently cancelled. We are always trying new cruise lines and visiting new places to be better prepared to support our clients. Doesn’t hurt that we enjoy traveling ourselves!
