Fun & Fitness travels to Japan in 2024 for two weeks submersion into the Asian culture. Club members learned that Japanese carry umbrellas in all their important religious ceremonies because, "They keep trouble away."

Cynthia Neu McCluskey co-founded the Fun & Fitness Travel Club in 1998 with Jim Seeley. Today the club has 5000 members nationwide. "We have no dues, no membership fees and no meetings, " says Cynthia. "We're a very popular club! And you don't even have to be good at sports," she adds. "But you do need to be a good sport!"

Fun & Fitness Travel Club was founded in 1998 by a group of ladies who took water aerobics classes together in McLean, VA. When their pool closed down in August for annual repairs the ladies decided to take a cruise together to continue during their water exercises. When other ReCenters in the area found out what the McLean ladies did they called asking if they could take a water fitness cruises too? Low and behold the Fun & Fitness Travel Club was born.
