Makin' Memories has successfully completed our first chartering season and is off to Grenada to escape hurricane season!

The first leg of our journey to St. Martin was incredible!

The Anegada Passage connects the Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean and has depths of over 7500 feet 😱 and is known for wild wind, waves and swells - especially when travelling upwind, as we did for the last 18 hours! 😳

However, the timing was perfect as a tropical wave passed just to the north of us and blocked the tradewinds! No wind or sailing for us, but the passage was calm and peaceful and absolutely beautiful the entire journey!

We caught a mahi for dinner, watched a gorgeous sunset and stunning orange full moonrise, and endless shooting stars. At dusk a pod of dolphins joined us for a part of our journey!
