M&Ms debuted in 1941, and our love affair with those candy-coated gems has never slowed down. 💖 This sweet shop is part history and ALL yummy! You can find M&Ms of EVERY flavor and color here (and you may be surprised at some of those options) , along with some items exclusive to the Disney Springs mega store. 😝You know how sometimes things look a lot better than they taste? The House Gumbo from Tiana’s Palace isn’t one of those things. 😋🍲 This rich, flavorful dish is definitely not your standard quick service fare. 🍽️ Add a side order of 🍞Buttermilk Cornbread and chef’s kiss! 😘🤌 Fair warning, this meal will have you digging a little deeper into your wallet (about $20 with the cornbread) 💵, but it’s hearty, tasty, and shareable. Leaving plenty of room for beignets!

I almost never share my food in real life, but at Disney, it’s one of those wallet savvy tips I always tell my clients. Portions are usually bigger and since you’re snacking all day, it just makes sense!

There’s more than just gumbo here. You can order shrimp and grits, po’boy and muffuletta sandwiches, and more! What would you most likely try from Tiana’s Palace? 🍤🥪

Universal isn’t all about dinosaurs 🦖 and wizards 🧙‍♂️—there are some super fun, great-for-everyone-in-the-family attractions like 😎 Men in Black Alien Attack. Nothing bonds families together quite like some friendly competition and blasting aliens to save the planet. Don’t speed through the ride queue, because seeing aliens having their coffee break is going to absolutely make your day. ☕👽 Are you typically the one in your ride vehicle saving the planet, or are you more of a casual back-up agent?

Disney Springs has some really fun things to do—it’s not just shopping and restaurants! 🎉🛍️ Did you know at Goofy’s Candy Co. you can create your own sweet treat? 🍭 Inside this fun, and I’ll say it—goofy shop, you have the option of designing your very own caramel apple 🍎, cake pop 🍰, crispy treat 🍪, or marshmallow. 🍡 You choose the “base” and then add your toppings. What a fun experience and maybe a nice reward for letting Mom and Dad shop in peace? 😂

When planning for a wonderful, multigenerational trip, many guests lean into the idea of booking two rooms at a Value or Moderate Resort in an effort to save cash. 💵 Did you know that in some cases, it is actually more cost effective to go the DVC villa route and all stay together? 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 (Especially when you consider you’ll have a kitchen/kitchenette for breakfasts before hitting the parks!) 🍽️ Why take a trip together and then peel off into separate rooms down a long, loud hallway? 😴 Who loves the idea of calling a villa home? 🏠 Where have you always wanted to stay?

Pro Tip Alert! 🚨✨ Want to save some cash and calories while eating Quick Service at the Disney parks? Here’s a little secret… kids’ meals are where it’s at! 👧🍽️ If you’re not on the Disney Dining Plan, aren’t a big eater, or don’t like to share, why pay for food you’ll barely finish? Order a kids’ meal! At least look at the options, because they are way easier on your wallet, typically healthier, and surprisingly good.

Talk about a win-win-win: you save money, don’t feel overstuffed , and won’t feel guilty snacking around “the World.” 🍿🌍

My go-to plan for food is snacking throughout the day instead three large meals. Disney snack sizes are HUGE and so grabbing a cinnamon roll or a pretzel is sometimes even easier for your stomach and for your wallet!

😍🙌 What I love the most about Universal Orlando Resort is how easy it is to navigate, the non-reliance on technology, and the immersive feeling of all its lands and attractions. Walking seamlessly between the two parks (or even better, riding the Hogwarts Express 🚂🧙‍♂️), popping out to grab a quick bite to eat at CityWalk, and then strolling back in for more fun is SO easy. When I’m on vacation, I want easy, manageable, and fun. Universal ticks all those boxes ✅!

Anyone else love how easy Universal is to navigate and enjoy?

Of course, now that many of us have Disney+ 📺, we have just about every Disney movie imaginable at the touch of our remote. Still, there’s nothing dreamier than being AT Walt Disney World, checked in to your amazing resort, laying out on the resort grass, and watching a sweet classic (or sometimes a newer release) under the stars ✨. The resort’s Movies Under the Stars is absolutely FREE and is the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. Which movie do you think would be even better on the grass at your favorite resort? 🎞️😊

🌪️🌧️⚡️Hurricanes, tropical storms, and tropical depressions, OH MY! Cruising during hurricane season will give you the lowest prices, but there’s a reason for that. If this is the best time of year for you and your crew, here are a few helpful tips:

📅 Hurricane season officially goes from June through November. If you are considering August, September, and October, just know you are likely looking at the highest possibility of weather issues. Sailings out of Florida to the Caribbean will be the sailings most impacted.

🛡️Get travel protection! Just do it - no matter when you sail

✈️ Book flights early in the day for less chance of cancellations or delays. Also arrive at least one day before embarkation day, just in case flights get canceled. You may find you have to hop in a car and hit the road!

🌊Go with the flow! Cruise lines reallllllly don’t want to cancel sailings, so they will do all they can to avoid that including changing itineraries to avoid weather issues.

😱Don’t let this time of year scare you away, though! ☀️The weather is usually nice and warm, and prices typically can’t be beat. 😎 Just go into it with knowledge and a game plan. Have you cruised during hurricane season before? Do you have another tip to share?

Day 3 was Park Day! I had one day with a park hopper and I made the best of it! 👌🏻If you have a shorter time in Walt Disney World than you like, listen up because this is what I did!

First, rope dropping Magic Kingdom for Seven Dwarves Mine Train. I was on and off in 10 minutes! Early park entry was key to this, all guests that stay at a resort get 30 minutes extra before the park opens! By 11 am we rode 4 rides and 3 of those super popular ones in less than 3 hours! Then Casey’s corn dog nuggets for lunch, some light shopping and hopped on a ferry and monorail to Epcot!

I bought an individual LL for Guardians: Cosmic Rewind for 2:25. I park hopped to Epcot at 1 and got on 2 rides (Soarin’ and Figment) and 1 walk through attraction (Moana: Journey of Water) by the time I got to Guardians. 1st time riding Guardians and it was a blast! After that I headed back to the hotel using Skyliner to Pop Century station and got ready for the Typhoon Lagoon H20 Glow After Hours Party! This was my first time at a Disney water park and it did NOT disappoint! The after hours party was super fun with some included snacks and unlimited fountain drinks for the party! There was a DJ on the beach, glow sticks and characters dancing on the beach with us! The wave pool is incredible and definitely lives up to the hype!

It was a day packed full of fun and I managed to hit 3 Disney parks in one day!

It’s been such a fun weekend meeting amazing fellow Mousekeplanners, connecting, learning and have a little fun while at it! Thank you to for an incredible conference! ☺️

🫣🌴🍸One look at Gran Destino Tower and the gorgeous rooms in this relatively new addition to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort had many of us coining a new phrase, “Deluxe Lite.” With all of the scrumptious dining options, the high end feeling lounges, the well appointed & sleek rooms, this tower feels every bit as swanky and splurge worthy as a Deluxe Resort…minus the splurge. ➡️Who else can vouch for the swagger this new Tower addition exudes?

⚡️🏁🏎️🛻 Ka-Chow! Got a fan of Tow Mater, Lightning McQueen and the rest of the Cars gang in your pit crew? Buckle up because Disney California Adventure Park’s Radiator Springs Racers is a MUST-DO! This isn't just any ride; it’s a high-speed race through the iconic Ornament Valley that is so well done you’ll feel like you’ve stepped right inside the Cars movies.

Just a couple of pro tips to make your visit even better:

📏 Racers need to be at least 40 inches tall

☀️ Get to the park at opening and ride first thing in the morning for shorter wait time.

⚡️ Purchase Individual Lightning Lane to bypass the standby line
