We are very excited to show this custom-built Avett Brothers banjo preamp / guitar pedalboard switcher that incorporates an SM57 capsule without transformer mounted in the banjo.

This allows for use of a 100 ft. balanced cable to the preamp when the banjo is used. This same cable is unbalanced when switched to the pedalboard for electric guitar. This preamp also allows for single-ended active 9-volt or battery operation. This preamp also incorporates a separate tuner output, an unbalanced buffered output, and a front of house actively balanced output with ground lift.

Their response was "we've never heard the banjo sound this awesome- thank you!"

Selling a 1978 Fender Jazz Bass.....but this one is a little special. In 1978 I personally witnessed representatives from Fender present Frank Zappa with 4 endorsement instruments. (2) 1978 Blonde Fender Jazz Basses and (2) 1978 Blonde Fender Stratocasters. I worked for F.Z. at the time as his full time studio maintenance engineer at his home facility UMRK (Utility Muffin Research Kitchen). Later, one of these Fender endorsement basses was given to me by the Zappa family. I do not have a case for the bass and there are not any certification papers. In fact, I recently contacted Fender to try to get a certification from them but was told that they did not have records going back that far. The bass does have some minor cosmetic issues but has been played very little and as a result the neck plays and feels brand new. It goes without saying that Fender would give Frank only their best, and this one, sonically, is a fine example of that! Asking $3000 or best offer. Please PM me if interested.
