Why I love taking families to the Udvar-Hazy Center Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.

One of the largest cathedrals in the world, the National Cathedral is not only where memorial services for prominent occur, it is where Woodrow Wilson is buried (only president buried in city). From time to time the bells of the Cathedral are rung. During the height of the pandemic, the funeral bell was rung once for every one hundred deaths due to covid. When we passed one million last year, the bell was rung 1,000 times. Here are the bells ringing a couple of weeks ago.
