The last 2 wks we had the absolute pleasure of sailing aboard Avalon Waterways aboard the Imagery II . We sailed the Rhine & Moselle Rivers. Our journey took us thru 5 countries on the 2 rivers, 40 + locks as we sailed. We walked, We hiked, We biked all included choices when you take an Avalon River Cruise.

Some of our fabulous sites we saw:

Medieval Castles along the Castle Gorge
Miles of Wine Vineyards in their Fall glory
Countless Unesco Heritage Sites
Small towns along the rivers right out of your favorite storybook tale.
Cathedrals-including Majestic Cologne (resting place of 3 Kings/Magi)
Maginot Line France from WWII days
Annelies Frank house
and even a gorgeous waterfall
