I am SO glad I didn’t miss this opportunity for my client! 👇

Last year, a client booked a trip to Cancun and came to me with a very clear budget in mind.

I always honor my clients‘ budgets of course, but based on their list of things they wanted I knew they would enjoy the ocean view suite over the garden view, I mean, who wouldn’t?!

The problem? It was technically out of budget.

Out of budget within the week they originally wanted, that is.

I knew my clients had a bit of a flexible timeline for their trip and a simple tweak to the week they booked meant that we could shave a bunch of money off the cost and get them that ocean view at just a little over their budget.

I’m SO glad I have great relationships and can take suggestions to my clients, and that they trust me to do what‘s in the best interest of their all too valuable vacation time.

Spoiler alert: they had NO regrets about the little extra they spent for the view and I’m so happy we could make it all work.

If you could only visit one place over and over, where would it be?

I know — it’s the hardest question ever.

But there’s just something about that one place that feels like it’s calling you back over and over again.

For me, it’s Jamaica—I just can’t get over how gorgeous the sun sets over the water, the ambiance, the locals …or the food!

But here’s the thing — I have a trip this year planned to Aruba. I’ve never been but based on what I’ve heard it could possibly unseat Jamaica as my repeat vacation spot over and over. I've been to Curacao and enjoyed it tremendously.

We’ll see! I’ll report back upon my return.

Is Sandals Resort on your radar?

If you’re thinking of taking a [solo trip/family trip/couples trip/relaxing week off work to do absolutely nothing], it absolutely should be!

And on my recent stay back in June, I got all of the intel.
Things you’re not going to find listed on those big booking sites online.

I’m talking about the sunrise view from my balcony and hearing the waves crash along the sand is breathtakingly beautiful or the amazing staff at the kids club, which my clients’ kids still talk about!].

If you’re someone who doesn’t just want a place to lay your head but wants an experience when you stay at a hotel or resort you need the inside scoop.

Things like:

Joyful Travelz

I’m a military vet and have traveled all over the world serving my country. You should live your best life while you can. I’m the owner of Joyful Travelz, serving as an Independent Travel Agent. I want to assist those that may not have the time to research travel locations/options or those that aren’t familiar with booking for themselves. I want to put your mind at ease by doing the work for you and you select which option works for you and we go from there.

I would like to tell you a little about myself. I’m from Lambert, MS, a very small town in what’s known as “the Delta.” It’s not too far from from Memphis, TN. I’m the youngest child and was always curios about what was beyond the small town where I grew up. I have a very large family and we love to have get together’s reminiscing about our younger days. I truly enjoy those fellowship times with them. I love my family.

Joining the military was one of the best decisions that I could’ve made for my future. I served in many roles from Squad leader to Platoon Sergeant. Some of my best specialty assignments were where I served as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Leonard Wood (FLW), MO and later as a Drill Sergeant Leader at Fort Benning, GA. Those were among my most rewarding positions that I performed while serving my country. I would have to say that it was indeed an honor and privilege to have served under President George W. Busch and President Barack Obama, traveling all over the world in support of the mission. I enjoyed the good and the bad, now that I can reflect back on it. I know that it molded me into the woman that I am today. I truly have met some amazing women and men that are brothers and sisters to me along my career while serving. We will always have each others back, a true bond of love and respect.

I’ve always loved to travel. Again, I want to ease the burden of researching for you and finding the perfect vacation/getaway for you. I’m certainly not a magician, but I can make you smile by doing the “HARD RESEARCH” for you.
