Festival Of The Flutes

Regretfully, we will not be hosting a Festival of the Flutes in the fall of 2016 as normally anticipated. We will return in 2017, working closely with Gateway Community Outreach to support the work they do in the community for over 21 years - known for for feeding those in need, but much more.

I am so very sad to hear that our good friend and Co-Founder, Dr. Clifford Fruithandler, passed away, unexpecedly this past weekend.

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to his family and all of his PNA Family members that knew him as a very compassionate and caring person who's main focus in life was to make people feel better !

Although it is very difficult today to see beyond our sorrow and our untimlely loss, may we all look back in memory, rejoice in knowing Cliff for the shortened time that we have all been blessed with, loving him, praying for him and his Family and remembering that we have beeen all touched with him in some way in our lives. ..

The Stockdale Foundation announced today it will be holding its 2nd Fundraising event Thursday, May 17, 2012. The fundraiser will be held at the JM Lexus (http://www.jm-lexus.com/) showroom in Margate, FL, and will feature a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament and Casino-style Table Games, presented by Pilgrim Studios (http://www.pilgrimstudios.com/) in association with Harriet Tatum Brown.

$25,000.00 in prizes will be awarded to the final table participants, and there will be multiple raffle prizes available to bid on. Food and drinks will be available. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet several local "Miss Florida" contestants, a surprise former Miami Dolphins great, current Miami Dolphins fan-favorites and other local celebrities.

According to Martin Stockdale, President of The Stockdale Foundation, the goal of the event is to provide the foundation the financial means to significantly increase the number scholarships awarded each year. "Right now we can award one scholarship per year," states Stockdale. "We'd like to see that number jump up to 15 or 20 in 2012."

PNA Sterling will meet on Thursday, February 16, at Runyon's in Coral Springs.
We meet at 12:00 PM for some informal networking and the meeting starts promptly at 12:30 and runs to 1:30 PM. The cost for lunch is $15 for members $20 for guests.
