Our Maine tour was a great success! We had beautiful weather, the coast was all that we expected. Very good local guides, food, and a whole lot more. Thanks to all who joined the tour.

Come join us for a Lighthouse Lover's Cruise, a visit to the Penobscot Observatory. the tallest bridge observatory in the world; take in the 100-mile view...all the way to Acadia! Time is running out to register for our tour to Maine, Sept. 9 to 13, 2019. We will visit Portland, Boothbay Harbor, Penobscot, Acadia National Park, Cadillac Mountain, Bar Harbor, Camden, Freeport, Kennebunkport and Ogunquit. Continuation of our Creation & Ark Museums tour...in the evening we had a riverboat tour with dinner and entertainment. Our dynamic duo entertained us with some gospel and mostly 50 & 60's music. He was great on the keyboard and she was great on the guitar - a very nice evening. The next day was the Ark. A few changes have been made here but all are positive. One is the 2,500 seat auditorium which opened in the spring. After a rest at the hotel we went to dinner at a local restaurant dating back to 1860. We had a wonderful buffet dinner and more entertainment featuring Bob. The feature was folklore, fun, songs and instruments for an interactive performance. Unfortunately we had to travel home the next day...sad but a great tour was had by all. Watch what's coming next...seaside villages, crashing surf and Ohhh the Views!!!

The Creation Museum was next. They have made some changes in the restaurants to increase efficiency. Gone are the long lines. They've also made changes in the museum by enlarging areas so it is not so congested at the beginning. All changes are very positive. We spent 5 hours there. Next we went to the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption - beautiful church with 82 stained glass windows. It is one of only 35 basilicas in the country. More to come...

We had a great tour to the Ark. Passengers evaluated all venues as a 5 which means the best score they can give. The first night was a variety of music by Wild Carrot, an award-winning Cincinnati-based group. They presented the theme "Wasn't that a Mighty Storm" with a variety of rain songs and special requests by the group. At the end they spent some time talking with the group, and featured their CD's (available that night) and their business cards which was a pack of carrot seeds that also served as their business card. What a clever idea! More to come...

We've returned home safely after a wonderful tour to the Creation Museum and the Ark. Some comments from passengers were, "Everything was great - high quality-very interesting-great food"; "We really enjoyed the tour" and "Everyone was very friendly"; "Great driver and tour leader, liked tour, the venues, the people on the tour, the hotel and great entertainment".

We are getting close to the May 1 deadline for the Biblical Proportions Tour to the Creation Museum and the Ark. In addition we will have entertainment the first night "Wasn't That a Mighty Storm", next night is a Riverboat cruise with buffet dinner and entertainment with Contemporary Gospel Music, and the final evening "Talk to the Animals"!
