08-12-21 Wyndham Vacation Resorts separated resale points from Developer points last night. Owners woke up to a new feature on the website. They could now pick resale points or developer.

After over 10 years of threats to seperate resale and developer points, Wyndham has made there move. If you are a Wyndham owner who owns both developer and resale (non developer points), you woke up to some terrible news this morning.

Your ability to get point discounts on resale bought points has gone away. Your ability to get free upgrades has gone away. Your ability to use any of the developer perks has been extinguished on all resale contracts. This all happened overnight.

We understand this will cause a influx of owners to get rid of their ownerships. Since our company has been well aware of the change all our owners were prepared and have taken the steps necessary to insure they were not impacted by these changes. You should reach out as we can help if you are stuck in a developer or resale contract. You are at complete mercy of the developer for any VIP benefits you may be receiving.

If you are a Wyndham owner, we would love to hear how you feel. If you own resale points, we can help you get out and never charge any upfront fees. If you own developer these changes had minimal impact but Wyndham may not stop here.

This is just another example of how ownership is risky. The power is all in the hands of the timeshare developers. While you own a timeshare in perpetuity, the use of that ownership will always be dependent upon the club rules which will change to benefit the club.

We are getting a lot of questions regarding timeshares.

Here are the basics….Yes we can help you if you own one. Yes we can help you get out of the ownership.

That’s the key we can actually legally get you out. The problem is that there is so much misleading information out there. Let us warn you that, if it sounds to good to be true when it comes to timeshares, it is.

Lots of companies are preying upon owners misfortune and wishes for refunds because they feel they were scammed. The truth is that in the end 95% will pay to get out of there ownership.

Spoiler alert: the other 5 % don’t get there money back.

The other 5 percent still own them and constantly fall for the scam of paying upfront to list the timeshare or some to get out and they pay upfront. .

Some facts are hard to face but they are nonetheless facts. There are no real buyers of timeshares. If someone says they have a timeshare buyer offer them the 5 star challenge.

5 Star Callange, ….No one should ever have to take the money first prior. Challenge them to take the amounts they want to charge upfront out of there commission from the sales price. Unfortunately, they won’t do that. If the buyer was real, they would. If they refuse they have failed the challenge. If they accept please let us know so we can pass there name to the thousands of people waiting for such a company.

Prior to COVID-19 there was an option available but very few to get out with little to no cost. COVID-19 proved to the timeshare world that timeshares were in fact negative assets.

The results are still being felt today. People had there time extended on top of the time they couldn’t even use. Not one person got to forego paying maintenance fees, even though many of the properties were not even available to use.
