More pictures of our multi-level decks over the water. The upper one is covered and also has a gas grill. The middle one does not have a roof so it is perfect for sunning! Hopefully, this year we will add a floating dock.

Good Morning Friends! It's getting that time of year when people are enjoying the Suwannee River more and more! Here is what our last guest had to say about Heaven in The Hatch:

"Heaven in the Hatch is a peaceful slice of paradise on the river!! The house was perfect for my guests and I. The covered deck allowed us to enjoy the outdoors, since we ended up having a rainy weekend stay. The house was exactly like the pictures..secluded, peaceful and clean!!! The fire pit was a lovely feature that we were able to use the first night of our stay. My friends and I cannot wait to come back during the warmer months!! Richard was an exceptional host from responding quickly to my questions to offering us local recommendations of events happening in the area. The views of the river are absolutely stunning!!! I’d suggest this place to all my family and friends! We hope to stay again very soon!"

We put up our new sign to make it even easier to find Heaven in the Hatch, our rental house on the Suwannee River. "In the Hatch" because it is located near a little community called Hatchbend, which is close to Branford Florida. What do you think?

I mentioned in another post about how many fond memories that I have working with my Dad on this house and bringing it to where it is today. We lost my Dad in 2020 and sure miss him. He had a vision of what we could do to the house and after enjoying it for a year or so the renovations started. We are proud to continue the legacy of his visions that came to fruition with lots of work. I thought I'd post a few pictures of what it looked like when we bought it. It was basically a cabin with two bedrooms. You be the judge.......has there been some major changes and improvments? For reference, the little boy in the pictures is our oldest son Connor and he turned 25 years old in April.

We have 4 bedrooms (2 queens, 1 full and 1 twin. Large bath upstairs with seperate shower as well as tub. The second bath is downstairs which makes it more convienient for outdoor activities and it has a shower.

Our family has owned this beautiful property for over 20 years and have thoroughly enjoyed our times spent there. It is located near the town of Branford, Florida which is about 25 miles from Lake City and about 45 miles from Gainesville. There are numerous springs located within short driving distances from the house. I have a bunch of fond memories of my Father and I working together renovating and customizing the house to it's current state. We are now offering it for weekends and vacation rentals.
