M.T. Marchetti] celebrated 50 years in business last week at their factory in Italy. Major machine tool builders and distributors were in attendance. Our leadership team was front and center to enjoy the celebration! We were the first to import M.T. Marchetti] to the USA starting in 2003!

Another great install by the team!
TOP Automazioni Fusion bar feeder pared with a SMEC SL2000 E. This unit takes only 60 s comes to switch bar diameter ranging from .314” - 2.007”. If you assume one change over a day, that is an increase 150 hours a year of production time!!

Machining gears has always been a challenge. For years it has required a dedicated machine and an additional operation to machine the teeth in the part. However, in recent years different options for machining gears in standard machine tools have been developed.
Power skiving is a continuous machining process up to 3 times faster than hobbing and more flexible than broaching. And additional advantage of this method is that allows machining close to shoulders which gives more freedom in component design.
