We are very excited to share the news that the shelter-in-place orders were lifted in South Carolina last week! If you've been anxious to go on vacation after being isolated for so long, we have a lot of availability at the beautiful Sheraton Broadway Plantation in Myrtle Beach! Our own family stayed here last years and it was absolutely fabulous. The boardwalks, beaches, shelling, searching for shark's teeth, lots of mini golf, and even feeding the adorable turtles on property created lasting memories for us and our kids.

Please note: amenities on property may be limited under the CDC's recommendations surrounding COVID-19, but the beaches are open and restaurants are open for outside dining and take-out.

We regret to announce that we cannot accept any bookings with check-in dates prior to March 31st at this time. Because COVID-19 is constantly causing new lockdowns, travel restrictions, border closures, etc., we do not want to see any of our clients stuck with reservations that cannot be used or refunded.

We have waived our cancellation policies for all of our clients who already had check-in dates before April 1st, and we'll continue to monitor the progression of COVID-19 and how it affects travel. Although this situation has been incredibly hard on us and the travel industry, our clients' health and safety will always be our number one priority, and we want to always do what's right to protect them.

Prayers for health and safety for all of you. We wish you well during this forced social isolation, and we hope you give your worries to the Lord so you can enjoy this gift of time with your loved ones.

And of course we will be here to help you with your vacation needs once this virus is no longer a concern! After so much social isolation we think it's safe to say we will all need a vacation!

Thinking of taking a last minute beach vacation?? We only have a few units left for July/August at the beautiful Sheraton Broadway Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC! We stayed at this resort last month and absolutely loved it! The location was convenient, the amenities were amazing, we loved being able to have breakfast in the condo and then pack lunches to picnic on the beach, AND my kids had an amazing time feeding the hundreds of turtles living in the ponds at the resort. The beach is only a few minutes away, and it was the BEST beach we've been to for shelling and shark's teeth.

VRBO owners beware -- you are not protected from fraudulent charges made by a renter. VRBO requires owners to use their payment-processing company, will accept a credit card with a different name from the renter (without the owner's knowledge), and if the cardholder disputes the charge after the renter has already stayed, you are the one out the money and VRBO will do nothing to help you.

I am currently facing a battle with VRBO over someone who stayed at one of my resorts for TEN days. You can imagine the cost for ten nights in a beautiful two-bedroom condo, and how this hurts me. The most frustrating part is there is no guarantee that this won't happen again, because VRBO isn't the one out the cost, and they are not putting policies into place regarding the cardholder name and renter name matching.

As you can see in my chat with their support team, they do not care if the cardholder name matches the renter’s name. The protection they supposedly offer owners only protects the renters.

The two criminals live in Las Vegas: Candice Durisseau and Kayla Gray. In one of these photos, you can see Kayla Gray posted a picture of herself on Facebook IN THE ROOM at the Wyndham Grand Desert, one day before they checked out. Those curtains/carpet are from the bedroom in the condo.

Thinking of going to Disneyland for Spring Break?? We have three two-bedroom units available during spring break dates at Peacock Suites.
