We here at Eagle One Enterprises are looking for a few valuable team members for this upcoming 2024 Ketchikan Tour season. If you want to be apart of a fun filled and awarding company then all you need to do is apply! Like the ad says, we are offering multiple positions with top wages and bonuses!
We are gearing up for a fantastic 2024 season! We are looking for the right people to fill the following positions:
Deckhand
Tour Guide
Van Driver
Dock Runner
Ticket Seller
Must have a good attitude, be a team player, be able to work varied shifts, pass a UA test, have a good driving record! Your job is to narrate, and entertain our guests, either on our boat or driving around in one of our tour vans. Represent Ketchikan and our business in the Visitors center. Handle credit card and cash payments. Have good computer skills. We are willing to train, guarantee hours, offer competitive pay and offer an end of season bonus to the right individuals! It’s hot but the Whales must love it!
26 Orcas this morning in a super pod and 6 HBs on the 2pm tour! Going out at 5 again to see what’s out there!!
Three HBs crossing into Ward Cove. They have been feeding on the Gravina shore.
Well I hate to say it, we struck out on Humpbacks on our tours today but we had ORCAS!
Two HBs and a small pod of Killer Whales today.

Orcas from one of todays tours. We did see Humpbacks earlier in the day as well. 16 days we’ve had whales on every tour!! So 40 tours with not striking out. All season we have missed 7 tours out of 138 tours! Not a bad record for Ketchikan. And to think people still say there aren’t whales in Ketchikan!!!! Ha ha could have fooled me.

WOW!! What an extraordinary day out on the Eagle One!!! Orcas on both tours with one hungry Humpback. Adding icing on top was a very large black bear swimming from Mountain Point to Annette Island! We had some very happy guests!

The slow moving frontal band yesterday spread moderate to heavy rainfall across the southern half of the panhandle, multiple stations reported between 1 and 2 inches. Ketchikan Airport received the most and broke a 71 year old record with 2.66 inches of Rain. KRBD FM Rainbird Community Radio
