Exciting news here at Blaze Adventure Tours Headquarters! After our incredible success at the inaugural Blaze's Walk in 2024, we are upping the ante with a 5k run!!

All profits will be donated to the Perseus Foundation and their mission to provide lifesaving care to canine lymphoma patients. Thousands of dogs are diagnosed with lymphoma every year. Your registration and donations will make a direct difference in the lives of dogs diagnosed with lymphoma.

We could not have asked for better weather, fall foliage, or company for the October beginner backpacking trip with Girls Who Hike Virginia! Women from all over Virginia and D.C. joined us to explore the world outside of their comfort zone. Each and every one of you embraced the challenges, supported one another, and pushed the limits of what you thought was possible. I am grateful and honored to have been a part of your journey! 🫶 ⛰️ 🍂 🙌

Reminiscing on last weekend with a full heart 🧡

was kind enough to invite us back for the 2024 Adventure Summit. I got to teach sessions on backpacking basics, firebuilding, and backcountry first aid, but I also learned so much from all of you. There's something magical that happens when 100 like-minded women+ come together and hold space for each other in the outdoors. Let's do it again next year 🥰

Last year's inaugural summit was one for the books, and I can't wait to see what this year has in store. Over 100 like-minded women+ getting together to hike, play, and learn about all things wellness and the outdoors at an awesome venue (s/o to )?! Yes, please!!!

Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn ✅️

🏔 41,000' of vert

😌 Two very happy and very tired hikers

The Walker's Haute Route is a trek from Chamonix 🇫🇷 to Zermatt 🇨🇭. This hike takes you from the base of Mont Blanc to the base of the Matterhorn and across countless mountain peaks, passes, and villages along the way. We've been planning this trip for two years, and it was without a doubt the most epic hut to hut hike we've ever done. We were graced with sunny skies 9 out of the 11 days but did face some logistical difficulties with rock falls and trail closures. We saw countless ibex, chamois, and marmots and even got to glissade twice. The "Haute Route" translates to the "High Route," and high we were! Both in elevation and on life 😄

Siri, show me the perfect summer weekend 🏕

67% of you were right! This past weekend, we made our way to Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. We spent a creekside slumber in the shadows of Spruce K**b - the highest point in the mountain state. There are few ways we'd rather spend the weekend, and we are excited to potentially offer this route to our clients in the future!

Girls can do hard things, too 👊✨️

Eight of us tackled the infamous rock scramble at Old Rag dark and early Saturday morning. We started our ascent at 2:30 AM and reached the summit before 6 AM. We watched blue hues turn into the most epic sunrise while we sipped our coffee. Hard work and *calculated* risks yield high rewards. This is your reminder to (safely) get out there and do the damn thing!

Last call for our Spring 2024 Learn to Backpack Trip with Girls Who Hike Virginia !! Join us May 18th - 19th in Shenandoah National Park to learn how to kick it in the backcountry. We'll be showing you the ropes of camp selection and setup, leave no trace, wildlife and food safety, water filtration, fire building, and more! And most importantly, connect with other likeminded women+ and find your new adventure buddy. Registration closes next week, and there are only a couple of spots left...so hop to it!
