Dear Switzerland 🇨🇭 You were great. We saw the most beautiful mountain tops 🏔️, rode the glacier ❄️ express 🚂, shopped for watches, and ate 🍽️ like kings 👑

On the subject of watches, I started this trip harassing Maggie that I was going to buy an expensive Swiss watch. She was against it from the start …until she saw something she liked. By the time it was all over, our party bought 5 watches. I think that’s the ultimate souvenir to bring home from Switzerland.

Our day in St. Moritz has been gorgeous. We took the funicular and cable car up to Piz Nair for epic views of the snow capped Swiss Alps.

We saw the leaning tower of St. Moritz 🤷‍♂️, went for a walk around town, stopped by an art museum, and simply took in the views. Enjoy the photos.

Today was a really cool once in lifetime iconic experience. We took the 8 hour Glacier Express train 🚂 from Zermatt to St. Moritz. We didn’t ride coach, and we didn’t ride first class. We put down the extra 💰 and road “Excellence Class.” Along with amazing views (slightly ruined by the weather), we had super comfortable window seating and a five course meal with wine pairings … plus all the Coke Zero I could drink.

It was a super neat experience, and I really feel that all travel should include that level of care, service, luxury, and comfort.

Tomorrow is a full day in St. Moritz.

If you’re worried about my house in FL, just know that we have the shutters up. We don’t fly home until Saturday, so I hope the wind and rain is gone by then. We’re thinking of everyone back home standing in Milton’s way.
