Raise the retirement age, or raise the income-cap on which contributions are made? Seems a simple answer to me. I have the privilege of working with individuals and families across the socioeconomic spectrum, and have yet to meet someone who isn’t willing to contribute their share into the system… including those who “don’t need SS checks” as a pivotal income in their retirement.

Medicare offers two ways for beneficiaries to receive their Medicare Benefits- Traditional Medicare or a Medicare “Advantage” Plan through a private insurance company contracting with Medicare to provide you with your Medicare Benefits.

These two options are not the same, not on any level.
