My favorite dessert in the entire universe...

If you know where to get it, please don't comment on here. We must keep it a secret so that they never run out...I've had to experience a dinner where myself and one of my friends were both trying to get the last piece. I was there eating dinner before he arrived, and he just walked in only to get the dessert to go. Luckily, I had already told the server that I wanted it before I ordered my meal.

I tell people how great it is and they don't believe me. On a recent trip, I convinced a seriously health-conscious gym guy (who doesn't eat sugar) to take one bite. He ended up eating several more bites.

I can't tell you where it is, but it's somewhere in Belize. You will just have to join us for a tour of the country to find out! 😉😉😋😋

There are many rescue groups in Belize that are worthy of receiving help and donations. I have donated to several of them when possible. This is just one of them that I would like to get some attention for and hopefully some donations. I met this lady in February when I was there on a trip. I don't remember how many cats she had at the time, but as of today there are 100. These cats are not caged and do not live outside. You can look at the posts and see what a great life they have. Most of them have been saved from death or at least a miserable life because of this lady. I would like to challenge everyone who is connected to my page to look at this FB page and see if you can find a way to donate anything! It doesn't have to be money, although I know that is really needed right now. I just spoke with her and the most needed items right now are donations through PayPal, dry cat food and toys. Toys and any pet supplies are hard to come by in Belize, even if you have the money to purchase them. There is an Amazon wishlist on the page where you can purchase items. If any of you choose to donate money through Paypal, let me know and I will match that amount. Several links to donate are listed on her page. Thank you all!

A live in cat kingdom

If you are in San Pedro or planning to be anytime soon, please consider donating ANYTHING to the Saga Humane Society. The store that I usually buy from was out of cat food and very little dog food, but they are expecting a shipment soon. They did have cat litter, so I was happy to find that. Last month when we were there, I asked them what they needed the most. At the time it was kitty litter. It may change before you get there, but they would appreciate anything you can donate. Also, they are still accepting empty prescription bottles (and also empty vitamin bottles, etc.) that we throw away in the U.S. You can save them instead of throwing them away and they don't take up much room in your luggage. There are also rescue places throughout the country that are in dire need of anything you can share. They are so appreciative of everything! Don't forget to walk a dog while you are there. It's easy to do and the dogs love getting outside in the fresh air for a walk and some cuddles.

Every election year in the U.S, our business starts to get really busy. No matter which political party you are with, there's at least 1/2 of the country that wants to get out of the US at any given time. LOL...actually, it's close to 100% before the election while we are waiting to see who will win the coveted prize for 4 years. So, for all of you who say "If ________ gets elected, I'm leaving the country!", now is your chance! (And to all of you celebrities that say it and never do it!) Things have really changed for most of us, and even the rest of the world. There is so much unrest and uncertainty going on right now.

If you are serious about finding a warm climate, wonderful food, easy living, friendly people and ocean breezes, get in touch. Have a fun week (or more) traveling around the country with a small group of like-minded individuals to see if Belize might be your new "happy place". We have 8 and 12-day tours throughout the year.

Don't worry, you don't have to learn another language...English is the official language in Belize!
