July 15 – 25, 2017

Come join us for an exceptional tour! John & Joe have selected many of their favorite’s places throughout Ireland to visit and stay over the years along with several new places and they want to share with you this summer. Reserve your place now...both the 2016 and 2015 tours sold-out early!

Here is a brief preview of the Summer itinerary:

July 15th – Overnight Travel to Ireland
Depart the U.S. tonight aboard your jet to the Emerald Isle. Dinner will be served shortly after take-off, so you can sit back and relax or enjoy a movie.

July 16th – Arrive in Dublin
Céad Mile Fáilte! One hundred thousand welcomes! After clearing customs and getting your luggage, we’ll meet everyone in the Baggage Claim area before you board your deluxe motor coach and meet our Driver/Guide, Peter Clarke.

Depending on when we arrive, we’ll be stopping to refresh ourselves with either breakfast or lunch. Then you’ll enjoy a panoramic Tour of Dublin until we check into our hotel. The hotel is in a great central location so that you can get out and walk to many of the attractions from the hotel on your free afternoon. We’ll enjoy a welcome reception followed by dinner this evening.
• Dinner & Overnight – Ashling Hotel, Dublin

July 17th – Kilmainhain Gaol (Jail) to Guinness Storehouse
This morning after breakfast, you’re headed to Kilmainhain Gaol prison for a tour. Kilmainhain Gaol held some of the most famous political and military leaders in Irish history, such as Robert Emmett, Charles Stewart Parnell, the 1916 Rising leaders and Eamon de Valera.

Afterwards, you’ll drive to the Guinness Storehouse. The tour is filled with interactive experiences to educate us on the history of Guinness. It’s been said to be one of Ireland’s top attractions!
• Breakfast, Dinner & Overnight – Ashling Hotel, Dublin

July 18th - Armagh

July 19th – Omagh to Donegal
Today, we’re headed to the Ulster America Folk Park in Omagh, County Tyrone. The museum tells the story of three centuries of Irish emigration. With over 30 exhibit buildings to explore, visitors embark on a journey that takes them from the thatched cottages of Ulster, on board a full scale emigrant sailing ship, to the log cabins of the American Frontier. With costumed guides to chat and traditional crafts to see, their historical story focuses on those who left in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
• Breakfast, Dinner & Overnight – Solis Lough Eske Castle, Donegal

July 20th – Lough Eske Estate and Belleek China & Pottery
We’re off to Belleek for a tour of all the production areas. You’ll have time to visit their sales room and tea room if you like before we head back to the Castle for the afternoon.
• Breakfast, Dinner & Overnight – Solis Lough Eske Castle, Donegal

July 21st – Drumcliff to Hennigan’s Heritage Centre to Westport
We leave Donegal and head to Drumcliff, Country Sligo for a visit to Yeats Gravesite. Later we’ll visit Hennigan’s Heritage Centre which has been preserved to showcase the heritage of life in the Mayo area, from farming, house and home, to jobs and work. At the heart of the centre is the thatched cottage built in the 1870’s. We then travel to Westport.
• Dinner & Overnight – Westport Plaza Hotel, Westport

July 22nd – From Westport to Connemara
After breakfast, we’ll be making our way to Connemara and Kylemore Abbey and the Victorian Gardens. The Benedictine nuns invite visitors to experience the Victorian atmosphere of the Abbey's restored rooms, miniature gothic church, head gardener’s house, and the garden boy’s house. Learn of the tales of tragedy and romance, the engineering initiatives, model farms, royal visits, and the Abbey's former role as a girl’s boarding school.
