Our Story ~
After selling General Alarm, Inc. in 2009, my husband and I executed our plan to live aboard a boat. We purchased a 1978 Cheoy Lee Long Distance Trawler and began our journey. Never in a million years would I have believed that I would learn to Captain a 55-ton vessel but; with the careful teaching of previous Captain Lawrence S. Briggs and guidance and support of my sweet husband; I did it! I recall pulling onto the sling for a haul-out in Trinidad. The dock hand looked up and saw me open the pilot house door and said with eyes wide; “you da Skipper?!?!?” The Gulf of Mexico; the Mobile Bay harbor, the Keys, the South Atlantic, the Caribbean and the rivers through the central US up into Kentucky Lake were our land and seascapes for about 3 years and 10,000 nautical miles. But frankly, I wanted to go back to work and fulfil my PURPOSES in life. As a Travel Agent I am living my purpose; that of facilitator. I facilitate great travel for my clients. It is in this work; I am filled with joy. Whether you want to charter a Private Yacht, Private Jet, go to a Spa or wellness resort and just re-center, experience a multi-generational resort, take a European river cruise or take a journey through the jungles of Africa; I stand ready, willing and able to help.
